Report: Amy Winehouse Diagnosed With Skin Infection

Feb. 20: U.S. musician Mark Ronson and British singer Amy Winehouse perform at the Brit Awards 2008 in London.
Grammy-winner Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with impetigo, a bacterial skin infection, her spokesman confirmed to People.
The British singer was prescribed antibiotics to treat the condition.
According to the Mayo Clinic Web site, “Impetigo starts as a red sore that quickly ruptures, oozes for a few days and then forms a yellowish-brown crust that looks like honey or brown sugar. The disease is highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people.”
A friend of the London songstress tells People that Winehouse is not in hiding, adding, “She’s never been one to care what people think.”

She looks like she should be selling dented canned goods, off-brand razors and expired over-the-counter medicine at the flea market.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impetigo Impetigo (sometimes impetaigo) is a superficial bacterial skin infection most common among children age 2–6 years. People who play close contact sports such as rugby, American football and wrestling are also susceptible, regardless of age. The infection is spread by direct contact with lesions or with nasal carriers.permalinkmonesy (0 children) [+]monesy 3 points 22 hours ago [-]meth.skin picking mouth rotter.

Why would you have a right to be angry based on past injustices to your genetic lineage? My grandfather was born an indentured servant from Ireland who lived in the Northeast of the US a hundred odd years ago. His father came to the US after having his home invaded and conqured by the British for 300 years.Should i feel some sort of hatred to the Brits? If so, how far back can i go? Do the Brits get to be pissed at the Italians for the roman occupation 2000 years ago? What’s the line? Is it just because you are black that you get to be angry? How does that make sense?

So you’re offended by expletives?Ron Paul said America lost it’s way, and our foreign policy is to blame. The pastor used the word damn in the sense that those who turn away from god are damned. So in a sense yes he did.

My pastor in North Carolina use to preach hate for gay people.I don’t hate gay people. They should get married and hold office.Holding Obama to the fire is just playing into the hands of the Republicans.(Hillary)Divide and Conquer.

What “Dems and Rep” cheered? I seem to recall Dr. Paul being slimed by the same media talking heads and fellow-travelers that are doing the preacher now.

you don’t live in Ireland. It’s easy for you to drag out a story about it when it doesn’t still effect you. Racism STILL affects blacks in America. The ignorance here is pretty stunning. It seems that whites want to wish away racial divides because it’s not their problem.Saying there is no anger to england in Ierland is wrong. You forget the IRA I guess. what Rome did doesn’t opress the irish in other forms.

You just think most of America is offended by expletives. I can’t think of anyone I know who doesn’t use profanity, and I live in the “Bible Belt”.

I guarantee you with 100% accuracy that neither I nor anybody else living in the US today had anything to do with enslaving anybody. I can also guarantee you that he has never been enslaved himself.Once again, we are back to him being part of the problem. Instead of trying to look to the future he is obsessing on the past. Instead of preaching brotherhood (or sisterhhood) he is preaching hate. I am not saying that we should forget the past, but we should DEFINITELY not dwell, fixate, obsess, etc. about it.
