A HEAVILY pregnant and glowing Jessica Alba has proven she is a children’s favourite at the star-studded 2008 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, taking out one of the top awards in Los Angeles.
Accepting the first award of the night from Janet Jackson, Alba gushed: "I love Nickelodeon! I wore green today in honor of the slime," Alba said.
"I love making movies for you all."
In a skin-tight fluorescent green superhero suit, Jack Black opened Nickelodeon’s 21st Annual Kids’ Choice Awards by singing an ode to the wonders of slime, playing the bongos and finishing off with a swift karate chop that demolished a stack of cinder blocks.
"Welcome to the slimiest, starriest, ‘choiciest’ awards show - ever!" Black yelled to an auditorium filled with screaming children.
This year, 88 million votes were clocked on the Nickelodeon website, Black announced.
The Jonas Brothers won the Kids’ Choice for favorite music group. The three brother act from New Jersey arrived on stage in pastel suits and accepted the award from "Ugly Betty" actress America Ferrera and Emile Hirsch, who stars in the upcoming Warner Brothers movie "Speed Racer."
Accepting the award for favourite singer underneath a dirty toenail on a giant foot prop was Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus.
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz joked about sharing eyeliner before revealing "American Idol" won the favorite reality show.
Demi Moore’s man and "Punk’d" creator Ashton Kutcher, dressed in a tuxedo, presented Nickelodeon’s Wannabe Award, given each year to the best celebrity role model or inspiration.
Winner Cameron Diaz asked the kids in the audience to whisper, and then scream, "We are the future! And the future is bright" as she accepted her award.
Will Smith, with his children Jaden and Willow, introduced a musical performance by Cyrus who sang "G.N.O. - Girl’s Night Out."

Is Mattel scared of human sexuality, losing profits, or the P.R. nightmare this product might cause?

I found lots of references to this. Some suggest additional broomstick origins for witches. Feel free to provide contrary evidence.

Have you checked the sofa armrests lately after your daughter visits. A good thing is a hard habit to break.

No point, indeed. Might as well start a mutual fund now to pay for her therapy in ten years.EDIT: What I MEANT was that parents who would chastise their child for doing something sexual are going to need to pay for therapy in a few years.
